Program Levels

AHG Troops are comprised of the following levels, which meet together:

Pathfinders ~ Ages 5-6 and in Kindergarten

Tenderhearts ~ Ages 6-8 and in Grades 1st – 3rd

Explorers ~ Ages 9-11 and in Grades 4th – 6th

Pioneers ~ Ages 12-14 and in Grades 7th – 8th

Patriots ~ Ages 14-18 and in Grades 9th – 12th

Program Emphases

Life Skill Enhancement ~ through multi-level merit badge program

Girl Leadership ~ opportunities at all levels of programming

Developing Teamwork and Building Confidence ~ through varied outdoor experiences

Character Development ~ through community service and citizenship programs

Social Development ~ through organized Special Events

Spiritual Development ~ through religious awards program

• Greeting Honor Flight Veterans
• Caroling at Nursing Home
• Cookie Exchange
• Marching in the Leesburg Holiday and 4th of July Parades
• Participating in Wreaths Across America
• Laying Wreaths at Leesburg's Union Cemetary (across from St. John's)
• Father-Daughter Dance
• Service at Parish Events
• Events with other AHG Troops
• Family Camping 2 or 3 times a year
• and several other service and social events!
