On July 4, 2025, the Holy Family Council of the Knights of Columbus hosted the annual fireworks parking event. The Town of Leesburg celebration at Ida Lee Park drew an impressive 24,000 attendees to celebrate Independence Day. With the dedication of 16 HFC Brothers, the event was a triumph of community spirit and organization. The team expertly managed parking for 315 vehicles. The fundraiser generated a record-breaking $8,000, the highest in the council’s history, which will support local Catholic Charities and St. John's Parish. The success of the event was made possible by the tireless efforts of volunteers SK Gary Szabo, PGK Mark Jeffers, Griffin Jeffers, PGK Eric Christoph, Teri Christoph, GK James Schwartz, Dave Parent, Tom Seeman, Chris Carroll, Bob Powell, David Gore, Mark Nachajski, Jim Robinson, Mark Harris, Vince Farabaugh, Cameron Kehler, and Robert Jackson.
