Knights bid farewell to Father Ed

June 18, 2025On Saturday, June 14, 2025, St. John's hosted a memorable farewell party for Father Ed, honoring his dedicated service to the council and community. The event, filled with warmth and gratitude, brought together members and parishioners to celebrate Father Ed’s spiritual leadership and unwavering commitment. The Knights of Columbus Holy Family Council, represented by Grand Knight Eric Christoph, presented one of the evening’s tributes, expressing deep appreciation for Father Ed’s guidance and the profound impact he had on the council’s mission of faith and service. The gathering was a testament to the strong bonds forged under Father Ed’s tenure as the chaplain for the council.In a touching highlight of the evening, Grand Knight Eric Christoph presented Father Ed with a meaningful going-away gift: a full-size banner of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the patroness of the Knights of Columbus. The banner, a symbol of faith and devotion, was chosen to reflect Father Ed’s deep spirituality and the council’s enduring connection to its patroness. As Father Ed moves on to his next chapter, the Knights expressed their heartfelt wishes for his continued blessings, ensuring he carries the love and prayers of the council with him.
